My 85 Year Old Father in Law was Robbed at Gunpoint this past Monday. Although this crime did not happen in the Kansas City Area it can happen anywhere. A stranger knocked on the Front Door claiming to be out of gas and needing help. Chuck, with a gas can in hand offered to drive the stranger to a Gas Station. A few blocks from home the Stranger instructed Chuck to stop the car, produced a Gun, took his money and keys and left on foot. Fortunately Chuck was not hurt.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Be Suspicious of Strangers
- Don’t Open Your Door If You Don‘t Recognize the Person at Your Door
- Don’t Allow a Stranger in Your Car
- Don’t Hesitate to Call the Police if You Feel Threatened

Thank you for sharing this information, being a senior citizen I need to be more aware of security. Your entire website is so informative. I appreciated meeting with your Life Safety Consultant at my home, he had great tips and designed a security system that fit my needs and budget. Thank you for being a company that truly is interested in my security.
